Frequently asked questions about our courier service
Everything about tracking, shipping, delivery, accounts and claims. Can’t find it? Ask our team.
Your tracking number is printed on the pickup receipt and shipping label, and included in the confirmation email sent when the shipment is registered. It starts with GFD followed by 10 digits, for example GFD4820193756.
Yes. Every stop is logged by our operations team as the shipment is scanned at hubs, airports, ports and road checkpoints. Open the tracking page, enter your number and you see the route on a live street map, the current position and the estimated arrival. Updates appear within minutes of the scan.
Completed stops are behind the shipment. The Current stop is where it is right now (or the last place it was scanned). Upcoming stops are the planned route ahead. The overall status (Picked Up, In Transit, Customs Clearance, Out for Delivery, Delivered…) summarises the journey.
First check for typos: the number contains only letters and digits. Newly registered shipments can take up to 30 minutes to appear. If it still cannot be found after that, contact support with your receipt and we will locate it.
Long legs such as a cross-country run, an ocean crossing or an intercontinental flight can take a while between scans. If a stop shows "On Hold" or "Customs Clearance", the note on the tracking page explains why and what happens next.
No. We carry single envelopes and small parcels on cargo bikes, motorbikes and cars in the city, and anything larger in vans and trucks.
A Sprinter van takes up to 2 US pallets (143 × 47 × 67 in), a straight truck up to 6 pallets and a 53 ft dry van up to 26. For anything beyond that, or for machinery and oversized loads, we arrange a flatbed or a dedicated freight solution.
Up to 220 lb per item on urban vehicles, 1,000 lb in a cargo van, 1,750 lb in a Sprinter, 3,000 lb in a straight truck and up to 44,000 lb in a 53 ft trailer. Heavy single pieces travel with a liftgate or on a flatbed.
Use the quote form or call us with the origin, destination, contents, weight and dimensions. We confirm the price, arrange pickup and issue the tracking number immediately.
Yes, in most cases before the courier has collected the shipment, and often even while it is on the road. Contact support with the tracking number; redirection or re-timing fees may apply on long-distance routes.
Use a sturdy box or crate that closes fully, with padding so the contents cannot move. Fragile items should be marked; furniture and appliances are blanket-wrapped by our crew. Pets travel in a secure carrier with their name on it.
Yes. Our courier service runs seven days a week, including evenings and public holidays. Weekend and holiday pickups carry a small surcharge that is shown in the quote before you book.

The driver records the name of the person receiving the shipment, the time and a signature on the handheld, and takes a photo at the door. Sender and receiver get the proof of delivery by email, and it stays on the tracking page.
The driver calls the recipient first. If nobody can take the shipment, it is brought back to our hub and a second attempt is arranged at a time that suits the recipient, who gets a notification with the new slot.
Yes. Every delivery produces a signed, time-stamped proof of delivery with a photo, emailed to the addresses on the booking.
Yes. Choose the delivery day when you book, or contact support while the shipment is in transit to hold it at the hub until the day you want.
No. Anyone with the tracking number can see the route and status. An account gives you a dashboard of all your shipments plus full contact and delivery details.
Automatically, by email. When you create an account with the same email the shipment was addressed to (as sender or receiver), it appears on your dashboard immediately, including shipments registered before you signed up.
Sign in and open My Account to update your name, phone number and password. To change your email address, contact support so your shipments stay linked.
Every shipment is covered against loss or damage up to its declared value at no extra cost, subject to our Terms. Extended coverage for high-value cargo can be added when you book.
Report damage or loss within 7 days of delivery (or the expected delivery date) through the contact page, quoting the tracking number and including photos. Claims are usually settled within 14 business days.
Credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay for one-off bookings; invoice with monthly billing for business accounts.
By default the receiver pays import duties and taxes on delivery (DAP). Shippers can choose to prepay them (DDP) when booking so the receiver has nothing to pay.
